This hike was amazing. It was really challenging even if you are in good shape but it was sooooo worth it. The guides English was not so good but he was very nice and helpfull, he opened his home for us and tried really hard to do everything for us. The view was breathtaking. I'm really glad we made it even if it was real though. Thank for your commitment befor the hike and that your are interested in our journey.

I had a great time doing the Duwili Ella hike, totally recommend to any nature lovers thinking about a hike in Sri Lanka. It’s a difficult hike with 3 stream crossings and you must be in good shape, but the views are worth it! Vasantha was our wonderful guide and his English is limited but it was no trouble as he is very friendly and could answer most questions we had. Suranga organized everything for us easily and answered questions quickly leading up to the hike. It rained during our hike which made the leeches quite active. Be warned if you are afraid you will end up getting bit by them during/after rain. The food was basic as our guide was carrying it in a bag but we always had enough to eat. Camping beside the waterfall was wonderful but there are no pillows/mats so plan accordingly and bring some soft things to lay on. Overall a challenging experience but well worth it!

We wanted to do the Duwili Ella tour, but we canceled it as the weather was really bad and on a prior hike we had lots of leeches which we found horrifying. Anyway I wanted to write this recommendation, as we really got every information and help that we needed, he even helped us to find a hostel. If we come back to Sri Lanka with better weather we'll definitely do the tour together with them!

Nous avons fait appel à Knuckles Adventure pour la randonnée Duwili Ella. Wasantha notre guide a été super, très gentil. Rien a dire sur la rando elle est exceptionnelle. Néanmoins le prix est un peu élevé pour la prestation offerte. Nous ne regrettons pas notre choix car la météo a été mauvaise et Wasantha a été précieux pour trouver des abris, lutter contre les sangsues et trouver le sentier qui sous la pluie disparaît un peu.

Una gran experiència, vam realitzar la ruta de Duwili Ella, són 18km d'anar i 18km de tornar, una ruta preciosa on tindràs l'oportunitat de veure banyarte en una cascada preciosa, veure una piscina infinity natural i dormir en un lloc espectacular al costat d'una cova on s'hi troba la cascada, no hi ha gaire quantitat de menjar, pro pels dos dies ja està bé, ells recomanen veure aigua del riu, nosaltres no vam voler per els perills que pot provocar a l'estómac, així que recomanem que aneu amb molta aigua ja que fa molta calor o que porteu un filtre, hi han moltes sanguijuelas. Una ruta que sense dubte la recomanem per a la gent que li agrada la muntanya i l'aventura. Els encarregats es preocupen per a que tot estigui bé així que estem contents amb el servei ofert.
